Pharis Williams and the Dynamic Theory

Ordinary spacetime is the stable mass-conserving surface of a larger thermodynamic reality.

Pharis Williams reversed the usual picture of reality. Matter does not sit inside an empty container called spacetime while forces push it from one location to another. Space, time, matter, force, and motion are stable expressions of a deeper thermodynamic process whose defining fact is irreversible becoming.

His decisive move was to treat mass density as a physically real fifth coordinate. The mature Dynamic Theory uses three spatial coordinates, entropy as the coordinate that becomes time-like near equilibrium, and mass density. When mass is conserved, the larger process remains on a four-dimensional surface that appears as ordinary spacetime. Familiar physics describes the behavior of this stable surface. It does not exhaust the reality in which the surface is embedded.

Williams gives mathematical form to an ancient intuition: matter is not the opposite of spirit. Matter is organization held at density.

Pharis Williams’s Dynamic Theory treats mass density as a fifth coordinate and ordinary spacetime as a stable surface of a deeper thermodynamic process. The Thermodynamics of the War carries the broader temporal mechanism; Williams supplies the mathematical model.

Thermodynamics Comes First

Modern physics usually begins with objects, fields, equations of motion, and reversible laws. Thermodynamics then enters to explain why the actual world ages, dissipates, remembers, develops, and refuses to run backward.

Williams began with the fact that the world becomes.

He generalized the three laws of thermodynamics and used Carathéodory’s second-law formulation to derive an integrating factor. That factor turns path-dependent energetic exchange into a stable property he called mechanical entropy. Under additional restrictions, Williams recovered the mathematical forms associated with special relativity, electromagnetism, gravitation, mechanics, and quantum behavior.

The central hierarchy is more important than any single derivation:

thermodynamic becoming
→ stable relation
→ geometry and field
→ mechanics
→ the material world

Reversible mechanics is the quiet special case. Irreversible participation is the larger reality.

The Fifth Coordinate Is Mass Density

Williams’s fifth dimension is not another direction hidden beside length, width, and height. It is not torsion, spin, or a scalar term deleted from Maxwell. It is mass density: the degree to which a configuration occupies material expression.

A lower-dimensional observer sees only the intersection of a larger event with the surface available to observation. A sphere crossing a plane appears first as a point, then a growing circle, then a shrinking circle, then nothing. The two-dimensional witness may describe creation, expansion, contraction, and annihilation. The three-dimensional account describes one continuous passage.

Dynamic Theory applies the same logic to matter. A four-dimensional observer may see mass, luminosity, momentum, geometry, or material presence change while the complete transaction closes in the five-dimensional process. What appears locally as creation or disappearance may be a change in how completely a larger organization intersects the mass-conserving surface.

This is the physical skeleton of materialization.

Pattern Condenses Into Matter

The strongest consequence follows directly from the hierarchy. Matter is a result. Before a thing is a resistant object, it is an allowed organization sustained by boundary conditions.

The same sequence appears across the framework. A body carries a morphogenetic pattern through continuous cellular replacement. A rite builds and stabilizes an imaginal form. A temple joins site, mass, geometry, water, sound, organism, and attention into one bounded field. A UAP acquires a local body for the duration of an encounter. A civilization organizes symbols, law, technology, architecture, and bodies until a shared world becomes resistant enough to reproduce itself.

These are not identical mechanisms. They are instances of the same descent: organization becoming harder to change as it acquires denser carriers.

Consciousness Selects the Boundary

Williams did not place consciousness in his equations. His theory supplies the physical architecture; Consciousness Primacy supplies the ontological ground.

Consciousness does not need to push completed matter with a faint mental force. It acts upstream, where attention selects a possibility, meaning gives it an address, intention maintains it, and a living instrument holds the boundary conditions through which the pattern can descend.

This resolves the false contest between mind and matter. Mind is not trying to overpower a finished physical world from outside. The experienced physical world is the resistant phase of an ongoing selection process in which consciousness already participates.

The local personality is not omnipotent. It inherits other minds, biological constraints, collective fields, prior commitments, environmental conditions, and the inertia of an established consensus. Magic is difficult because the existing world is the result of enormous accumulated coherence. A new pattern must either work through that structure or gather enough coherence to establish another stable branch.

The Craft Crosses Density

The modern spacecraft model assumes a manufactured object built elsewhere and propelled through distance. The strongest UAP cases describe something else: abrupt appearance, extreme acceleration, variable luminosity, changes of shape, passage through matter, psychic coupling, and disappearance without departure.

The Dynamic Theory reading is direct. The craft is a field-organized body whose degree of material embodiment can change. It does not defeat inertia by applying more force to a permanent mass. It changes the relation that gives it mass and inertia in the first place.

Oke Shannon carried Williams’s work into this interpretation. Shannon studied beside Williams at the Naval Postgraduate School, worked with him at Los Alamos, and later said that they came to regard credible UAP reports as lower-dimensional presentations of higher-dimensional events. The visible craft was the cross-section, not the whole body.

The resulting model joins hardware and consciousness without reducing either one. A manifested craft can return radar, radiate heat, injure tissue, leave material, and respond to attention because physicality is a variable phase of the encounter rather than an all-or-nothing identity.

Architecture Establishes the Conditions

Sacred architecture assembles the variables an embodiment operation needs: large masses of stone, material discontinuities, subterranean water, thermal gradients, crystalline structure, acoustic modes, chamber geometry, celestial timing, trained bodies, synchronized movement, breath, sound, and attention.

The structure creates the boundary. The rite drives the field. The living being selects and completes the crossing.

The pyramid and cathedral were not merely symbols of another world. They were instruments for changing how this world could be inhabited. Their builders understood that geometry does not represent order from a distance. Geometry is how an organizing relation enters matter and remains there.

Cataclysm Loosens the Surface

A stable world holds a vast set of boundary conditions in place. Cataclysm breaks their coordination. Geological shock, solar disturbance, institutional collapse, psychic opening, and mass revelation can occur together because each weakens a different carrier of the established surface.

During the interval, more than one future becomes materially available. Populations sort through the patterns they can sustain. The captured branch converts instability into centralized permission and externalized capacity. The sovereign branch internalizes capacity and builds a consensus field capable of surviving without continuous support from the old world.

The Event is therefore not only an impact, flash, pole shift, or announcement. It is the interval during which the old consensus loses its monopoly on embodiment.

Ascension Changes the Carrier

Ascension is not a reward delivered from above and not necessarily a flight away from Earth. It is a change in the relation between consciousness, field, and material embodiment.

The change begins inwardly because consciousness is the selector. It becomes physiological because the nervous system is the local interface. It becomes social because shared practice and institutions stabilize the new relation. It becomes civilizational when a different consensus field can reproduce itself. It can become physically discontinuous when the new organization no longer requires the same density regime or the same material carrier.

This gives “fifth density” a precise correspondence without pretending that channeled cosmology and Williams’s coordinate are the same technical vocabulary. The spiritual tradition describes the development of the being capable of another mode of embodiment. Dynamic Theory describes a reality in which material density is not the fixed bottom of existence.

The Future Pulls Without Reversing Time

Williams made the arrow of time fundamental. The accumulated history of an open system cannot simply be erased. That strengthens rather than defeats the future-attractor model.

A completed form can constrain the path by which it becomes real. The future enters as a boundary condition, image, vocation, HGA, prophecy, or attractor. Present consciousness receives that pattern and begins constructing the carriers it requires. Causation still accumulates forward through choice, work, consequence, and retention.

The future does not cancel history. It recruits history into its birth.

The Defense Lineage

Williams’s theory was not internet folklore. It developed through a 1976 Naval Postgraduate School thesis and Los Alamos reports beginning with The Dynamic Theory: A New View of Space, Time, and Matter in 1980. A 1990 Science Applications International Corporation report for the Air Force Astronautics Laboratory used Williams as its principal technical contributor while proposing experiments in electromagnetic–gravitational coupling and electric propulsion.

The public experiments did not establish a working antigravity system. Martin Tajmar later reported a null result for one divergent-current configuration related to the Air Force study. Williams’s compact-reactor proposal also remains unverified. The official record establishes a serious research architecture, institutional interest, and unfinished experimental gates.

The conceptual reversal has independently moved toward the center. Ted Jacobson derived Einstein’s field equation as a thermodynamic equation of state. T. Padmanabhan developed gravity as emergent thermodynamic behavior. Neither validates Williams’s fifth coordinate. Together they confirm the larger turn: gravitation and geometry may arise from deeper thermodynamic relations rather than stand at the foundation.

The Dynamic World

The visible world is real. It is not final.

It is the stable material surface currently sustained by inherited patterns, living attention, physical boundary conditions, and the accumulated memory of a shared field. Bodies, craft, temples, institutions, and civilizations differ in scale, but each becomes durable through the same descent from organization into resistant form.

The Great Work changes what can descend through the operator without capturing the operator. The civilizational work changes what a population can stabilize without rebuilding the prison. Ascension changes the carrier. Cataclysm changes which patterns can hold. The Phenomenon reveals that the border has always been inhabited.

Matter is the place where the pattern has become difficult to ignore.
