The timeline layer turns claims into sequence. An event can be exact, approximate, bounded, cyclic, or windowed, but every event should expose date confidence, actors, evidence, related claims, and the mechanism it affects.

Timeline Windows

2020-2024 Compression covers the pandemic, emergency law, monetary transition, platform acceleration, medical authority, ritual synchronization, and the first major public AI shock.

2025-2027 Window covers the near threshold: disclosure management, financial rails, AI institutionalization, biosecurity rehearsal, energy bottlenecks, and capture of awakening channels.

2028-2032 Fork covers the decision band where identity, money, computation, energy, and contact narratives may harden into local regimes with declining interoperability inside one coupled field.

2032-2040 Handoff covers long-horizon transfer: institutional succession, machine governance, inheritance of the Lock, and the possibility of distributed coherence replacing centralized permissioning.

Event Fields

Every timeline event should carry date or startDate and endDate, confidence, actors, sources, relatedClaims, and mechanisms. The prose should state what happened, why it matters, which architecture it affects, what evidence proves the event, and what remains uncertain.

Sequence Rules

An event is a dated change in state. The useful question is what became possible afterward that had been unavailable before. If nothing changed in access, authority, infrastructure, belief, money, biology, or attention, the item belongs in a source note rather than the timeline.

The Clock and the Chronicle distinguishes this event layer from recurrent phase, cross-scale form, and archival duplication. A typological resemblance can justify a comparative link while leaving two timeline entries independent. A proposed duplicate requires source and material evidence strong enough to collapse those entries into one event.
